Sermon Date: August 30, 2020   |   Speaker: Pastor John Connell  |  Series: The Movement Begins

Acts 2:41-43a (NASB) – 41 Those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls. 42 They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone kept feeling a sense of awe.

God offered salvation first to the Jews. The opportunity to partner with God as a light to the nations came first to the Jews. Via the Jews God would present Himself to the nations. If so, why does He need us? Perhaps, we have been wasting our time for 2,000 years. Maybe the moment has come to stop the work of the church.
