Saying good-bye is never easy, yet farewells are part of life. Some endings are as harsh as they are dreadful; some are welcomed and come with great celebration; some are more like splendid misery. After 50 years in ministry and 10 years as the Senior Pastor of Countryside Baptist Church, an ending has come that – for so many years – seemed to reside in a galaxy far, far away. Yet, now that ending has come. God has saved the best for last. What a sorrowful, yet glorious, day. Thank you, Countryside Baptist Family, for your innumerable expressions of love and support.
